When preparing for JIPMER MBBS 2020 entrance, candidates must note the JIPMER MBBS preparation tips 2020 which will be helpful in scoring good marks.
Time Management:- Unlike the other two medical entrances, NEET-UG and AIIMS MBBS, JIPMER MBBS exam is held for 2.5 hours and the total number of questions are 200. The JIPMER 2020 result will be released in the form of merit list and individual scorecard in the first week of June 2020. The regulatory body will issue a category wise merit lists which will contain the name of candidates who have qualified the exam and an overall merit lists which will include all the candidates who have appeared for the exam.
JIPMER MBBS merit list 2020 will mention the All India Rank, roll no., name, birth date, overall percentile, incorrect responses, sectional percentile and status of eligibility of each candidate for the counselling process. JIPMER MBBS cut off 2020 is stipulated on the basis of the relative performance of all the candidates. JIPMER releases the minimum required percentile to qualify the exam even before the exam is conducted. As per the current rules, unreserved category candidates are required to secure 50th percentile and PwD candidates belonging to unreserved category must secure 45th percentile. Reserved category candidates and PwD candidates coming under reserved categories must secure a minimum of 40th percentile to be considered qualified. As the JIPMER MBBS 2020 exam is conducted in two shifts, a normalisation procedure is used for the determination of the percentile of each candidate.
Mode of Counselling: Offline
JIPMER MBBS 2020 counselling process will be held in three rounds and in offline mode. Candidates will be required to report at the designated college on the stipulated time period. After the conclusion of three round if there are seats left vacant then a final counselling round will also be organised. Before the commencement of a counselling round, the authorities release list candidates who will be eligible to participate in the JIPMER counselling 2020.
